Friday Social with Live Music and Wood Fired Pizza by Dan's Van

As well as fantastic Pizza from Dans Van, and the usual warm welcome at the club, we've also got some great live Folk Music lined up from Steve Warner and Julie Simpson (Julie returns after a fab set at August bank holiday weekend). Steve Warner & Julie Simpson are a singer-songwriter folk duo bringing together original songs, beautiful harmonies and carefully chosen covers from the folk and acoustic tradition. Both established solo artists, they combine their individual musical styles to create a warm, engaging and distinctive live sound.

Their repertoire features a strong collection of self-penned songs, alongside carefully selected covers that reflect their shared love of folk, acoustic and singer-songwriter music. Steve brings his distinctive tenor guitar playing, while Julie adds viola and violin, creating a rich yet natural acoustic sound. Their performances are characterised by strong vocals, thoughtful musicianship, storytelling and an obvious enjoyment of playing together.
