Our Community Café at the Pavilion is a friendly, welcoming space created for everyone in the community. Whether you're meeting friends, catching up with neighbours, working remotely, or simply enjoying a quiet coffee, the café offers a relaxed place to spend time together.
Open every Wednesday and Thursday from 08:00 – 11:30, the café is designed to be an affordable, inclusive meeting place where people of all ages can come together and feel at home.
With views over the recreation ground and the warm atmosphere of the Pavilion, it’s the perfect place to start your morning.

Run by the community, for the community
The café is currently run by local volunteers, helping create something that benefits the whole community.
Our aim is to grow the café into a sustainable community asset — one that not only provides a welcoming meeting place but may also create local employment opportunities in the future.
A place for everyone
We hope the café becomes a regular meeting point for the community — somewhere people feel comfortable dropping in, whether they stay for five minutes or an hour.
Local walking groups, parents after the school run, people working from home, and friends meeting for a chat are all equally welcome.

As the café grows, we hope to extend opening to Fridays, with a relaxed atmosphere particularly suited to those working from home, while remaining open and welcoming to everyone.
